Before Care - Brows

The following restrictions are to ensure your skin is in the best possible condition for an amazing PMU procedure. Please read carefully!
-If you have dark/solid existing permanent makeup, removal may be necessary.
-PMU CANNOT be done immediately after cosmetic tattoo removal, you must wait at least 8 weeks.
IF YOU HAVE PREVIOUS COSMETIC TATTOOING, SEND AN EMAIL (BEFORE BOOKING) WITH A PICTURE YOU NEED APPROVAL BEFORE BOOKING, THIS IS FOR THE GOOD OF YOUR PROCEDURE!
-Procedure cannot be performed if you have a history of MRSA.
-Avoid heavy sunlight- if you do your skin is more sensitive
-Do NOT drink coffee or anything with caffeine the day of procedure- we don't want you moving all over during the procedure, plus it increases the likeliness of you bleeding during the procedure, which can negatively impact your pigment retention.
-Do NOT take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. (Tylenol or acetaminophen is okay!). These supplements thin your blood, and increase the likeliness of bleeding during the procedure.
-Discontinue use of AHA (chemical exfoliation) skin care products close to the brow area at least one week prior to your procedure.
-Do NOT drink alcohol 24 hours before the procedure. Yep, that's a blood thinner too!
-No Botox Treatments should be done 2 weeks prior, or for 2 weeks after your PMU procedure, please schedule accordingly to avoid complications!
-No Accutane Treatments within the past 12 months. This is essential, please schedule accordingly.
-No Waxing or Tinting 3 days before the procedure
-Discontinue any vitamin A skin care products (Retin-A, retinols) close to the enhancement area at least one weeks prior to your procedure.
-No laser or electrolysis on or around the treatment area one week prior to procedure.
-Do not have any chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy, or any other intense treatments which will cause faster skin cell rejuvenating and cause skin irritation 1 week before procedure.
-Not pregnant or breastfeeding
-If you are under a doctor’s care and have questions at ALL about being able to have this procedure, it is your responsibility to meet with your doctor and get written approval.
-Please be realistic with your brow expectations, although symmetry is always our goal, no one's face is 100% perfectly symmetrical.
IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE FOR EYEBROWS TO BE PERFECT MIRROR IMAGES OF ONE ANOTHER, you've heard the saying "brows are sisters, not twins", that applies here too.
**Please note that you will be more sensitive during your menstrual cycle.
If you have any questions about these restrictions, please contact us, and we'll be happy to clarify as needed!
